The only difference between posters, canvas prints and other wall arts is the material onto which the photo is printed and the dimensions of the finished product. Premium posters are available on different types of photo paper and are laminated in the frame. Posters and wall arts can be personalised to your own requirements or used with the page layout and design templates. In the case of canvas prints, a border area of approx. 3cm is folded down and stretched on a wooden frame. This folded edge then forms the visible side of the stretched canvas.
This should be taken into account when you are designing your canvas print.
|
Note: In the case of canvases, part of the photo is wrapped around the wooden frame so it can be fixed in place, and is no longer visible from directly in front. When selecting or photographing your background image, please make sure there are no important details in the border area of the picture that will be lost when this edge is formed. |
On the home page, select the corresponding "Canvas Print" or one of the other poster or wall art products. Select the desired format and the desired size for your poster or wall art. The Product Editor will then open.
|
Caution: Under no circumstances does the "For Frames" format mean that the product is delivered with a frame. Instead, it means that the product sizes correspond to some commercially available frame sizes. For ready-framed products, please note the "shadow gap frame," "framed" or the corresponding icons that indicate that certain sizes can be ordered in the ready-framed format. |
Here, you can subsequently change the product, e.g. make a premium poster from a canvas print or one of the other wall art products. Even the size of the product can be subsequently changed.

Caution: |
Please choose the objects you would like to add from the bottom left-hand corner of the program window. First, choose the photo you would like to add as the background for your canvas or collage poster.
There is a range of "Page Layouts" and "Designs" templates to choose from as well as "Photo Frames" for certain photo products. This frame is not printed, it is a real frame made of wood, metal or plastic. This means your canvas or collage poster will be delivered to you ready-framed.
The toolbar and dropdown menu contain the main tools and commands that can be applied to a selected detail, or used to add a new object. Please see the tool tips for extra information. (see the Toolbar chapter).
You can customise your product and create your own page layout with photo placeholders and texts and add photos from the selection area in the "Poster & Wall Art" workspace. Alternatively, you can use a page layout template or one of the design templates. The default format for canvases (murals) and posters is landscape. If you want a portrait format, first rotate the workspace in the Editor (icon at the bottom in the view options) and then rotate the photo in the opposite direction within the placeholder (icon at the top in the "Photo" toolbar). Some designs or layouts (portrait category) rotate the product automatically when they are selected.
